Carolina Concussion & Physical Medicine offers remote neurofeedback support that allows eligible patients across North Carolina to participate in portions of care from home.
A typical home session is designed to be simple and relaxing. Patients wear their neurofeedback equipment while watching whatever they like on their computer. As the session progresses, the system provides real-time feedback by subtly adapting the audio and visual experience based on the brain’s activity, helping to retrain the brain without requiring active effort from the patient.
Through scheduled appointments and data review, treatment settings and training strategies can be adjusted over time based on patient progress and response.
This approach helps improve access to specialized care, support greater consistency with treatment, and provide more flexibility for busy professionals, families, and patients outside the Wake Forest area.
