Comprehensive Concussion Rehabilitation in North Carolina
Whether your concussion is recent or persistent, our CereSynx™ NeuroRecovery System helps identify the factors contributing to ongoing symptoms, create a clearer path toward recovery, and help you get your life back.

When Recovery Doesn’t Go As Planned
Many people continue experiencing concussion symptoms long after the initial injury, often without clear answers about why recovery has stalled. We focus on identifying the factors contributing to persistent symptoms and developing personalized recovery plans that help patients get their life back.

Meet Dr. Michael DeCriscio
Dr. Michael DeCriscio is a board-certified Chiropractic Physician with advanced certifications in Vestibular Rehabilitation and Chiropractic Neurology.
Prior to establishing Carolina Concussion & Physical Medicine, he founded the Center for Dizziness and Balance Disorders in Maryland, which later merged with WellSpan Health.
There he developed the health system’s vestibular and concussion rehabilitation programs and remained a consultant to its physical therapists for three years.
Drawing on decades of clinical experience, Dr. DeCriscio created the CereSynx™ NeuroRecovery System to provide a more personalized and structured approach to concussion recovery. His clinical focus centers on helping patients improve function, cognitive clarity, balance, endurance, and quality of life through individualized care.

The CereSynx™ NeuroRecovery System
Recovery rarely happens in a straight line. When concussion symptoms persist, finding the right path forward often requires a thoughtful, individualized approach.
That’s why Dr. Michael DeCriscio developed the CereSynx™ NeuroRecovery System—a structured clinical framework that evaluates multiple domains of function, weighs their impact on recovery, and helps guide patients into the treatment pathway best suited to their unique needs.
