Videonystagmography (VNG) is used to evaluate patients with vertigo, dizziness, post- concussion syndromes and balance disorders. During the test, your eye movements will be recorded through goggles as you follow verbal instructions given to you by the doctor. This provides information about the central and peripheral vestibular system. This data, combined with the information gleaned from your clinical examination, is then used to develop a customized treatment plan.
